We stand behind everything we sell. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, simply return the item within 14 days with your receipt and we'll replace it or give you a refund. Please read "Returns" below for details.
Shipping options are available for most apparel and accessory items. Orders typically ship within one business day of being placed. We gladly ship orders anywhere within the Continental United States. We would gladly ship worldwide on a case by case basis. Please contact us for further info. Thanks!

Zippy's Bikes ships all bicycles in a standard bike box. Bicycles WILL require some assembly. Zippy's Bikes STRONGLY RECOMMENDS that this assembly be undertaken by a professional, certified bicycle mechanic. Zippy's Bikes will bear no responsibility for any damage caused by improper assembly of any purchase, bicycle or other.
Most orders will be ready within one business day. Please keep in mind that some items may require additional processing time to transfer from off-site locations. Other items may require additional processing time for assembly. We will call or email you once your order is ready for pickup. If you need an item right away we ask that you call us to confirm that the product is available before heading over to our store.
Unless special arrangements are made in advance, in-store pickups and special orders need to be picked up within 15 days or a 15% restocking fee will be charged. This includes all bike purchases.
No refunds on items paid for or not picked up after 30 days. Zippy's reserves the right to charge a daily storage fee on any item not picked up within 5 days.
Electric Bike Battery Recycling Fee
A $20 electric bike battery recycling fee is required for all e-bike purchases. This fee will be collected for any online orders at the time of order pickup. Learn more about electric bike battery recycling.
Storage Fees (for bikes, parts, and accessories not picked up)
Repaired Bikes must be picked up within 5 days of completion. If not picked up within this timeframe, on the 6th day a storage fee will be charged. Starting on the 6th day, we reserve the right to charge $2 per bike, part, or accessory, $5 per trike, and $10 per Surrey/E-bike. This includes unrepairable items.
Items not picked up within 30 days, including unrepaired and unrepairable bikes, will be disposed of.
If the repair estimate exceeds the value of the bike or item a non-refundable deposit will be required.
All returns must be pre-approved! If there’s a problem with a product that you purchased from us, please contact us.
ALL special orders or discounted item sales are FINAL.
Return shipping on bikes is paid for by the customer.
Returned bikes, parts, and accessories, (including online orders) are subject to a restocking fee to be determined after inspection.
- NO returns or refunds on tubes, tools, lights, clothing, helmets.
- NO returns or refunds on specially ordered items.
Returns over $100 must have a return authorization number clearly marked on the outside of the package or the item will be refused. A return authorization number can be obtained by phone or e-mail.
- Time: You have 14 days from purchase to request a refund.
- Method of Refund: Refund will be applied to the original form of payment.
- Product Condition: Product must be new or like-new condition in order to return.
- Refund Contact Info: Contact us in-store, over the phone, or by email for a refund. You can find store hours, address, email and phone number on our store details page.
- Charges: The customer is responsible for any shipping costs related to the return.
We will refund the original purchase amount within 14 days of your purchase, and ONLY with original receipt, for items returned in new condition or are defective. A restocking fee may be applied. Merchandise returned that appears used may also be subject to a restocking fee.
You may also ship an item back to us if it is defective or not to your satisfaction. Ship returns via Ground UPS or insured US Mail (we do not accept CODs). We will refund shipping costs on damaged or incorrect merchandise.
Labor fees, such as custom wheel builds or other services, are non-refundable.
Zippy's UPS & FedEx Services
Zippy's offers UPS and FedEx services for your convenience. Please note all of our bike customers come first.
FedEx - Zippy's offers the following:
- Purchase of shipping labels
- Drop off services
- A limited amount of packaging supplies (mostly free of charge)
UPS Access Point - Zippy's is an authorized Access Point that offers the chance to pick up your package at our location in lieu of your home or business.
Zippy's does not offer any copy, print, scan, or faxing services to the public. If you need a shipping label we can print that for a $5 service fee per label. The label can be emailed to: firstname.lastname@example.org
We protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts all of the information you provide to us and prevents outside parties from being able to "see" your transaction information. When your account information is displayed on your screen, we only display the last five digits of your credit card numbers. You also have the choice of whether or not to save credit card information with us in your Online Account.

Our website is intended to help you. We make every effort to maintain current, accurate prices in our online catalog. And we strive for similar accuracy and timeliness with the other information we offer here. However, inventory or pricing errors may occur, and we reserve the right to decline or cancel any orders where mistakes or discrepancies in price or stock status exist regardless of the source of the error.
